B2 Series Specifications
Dimensions of the B2 Rhapsody speakers are: 13x47x30 inches (340x1200x750 mm) WxHxD and weight 53lb (24 Kg). The wider cabinets of the B2.3 speakers are the same overall dimensions but weigh more, of course: 61lb (28 Kg). Sensitivity of both is 98dB making them ideal to partner any high quality, low noise, amplifier of low to mid power; solid state or valve. The single driver, with no crossover and a relatively smooth impedance curve, makes a very easy load and allows the amplifier to perform at its best.
Cabinet finish is in a very durable polyester paint, hence a very wide standard range of flat colours is available to suit any taste standard colours. A more limited range of metallic and pearl finishes can also be offered metallic range. We can't reproduce exact colours here, of course, but these give an idea of what is available.
Virtuoso Specifications
The dimensions are: 13x41x26 inches (336x1045x672 mm) WxHxD and the weight is approximately 78lb (35Kg). The finish is American Cherry real wood veneers, or, the Cherry veneers can be stained down to a Rosewood colour.
As standard, the Lowther DX4 drive unit is fitted, one of the finest (and costliest) in the world.
We have no independent reviewer's assessment of the Virtuoso V3 so far, and so we can only quote what customers have told us: unsolicited feedback
Prices
The B2.3 speakers, modestly priced at £3200, have been favourably compared with much more expensive high-tech models, in terms of making recorded music sound natural and 'real'. With the B2 Rhapsodies, it is not just the cabinet which has been slimmed down, the retail price is just £2750 - for speakers which are unmatched in breathing life into music!
The Virtuoso retail price is £6649 per pair for a world class loudspeakers of great beauty in their own right as pieces of furniture.Bargains
